This day in history: May 11 (Good News/Bad News)

1858 - Minnesota is admitted as the 32nd U.S. state.
Thank God, otherwise we might be Wisconsonians today; or worse, Iowans.

1820 - Launch of HMS Beagle, the ship that took young Charles Darwin on his scientific voyage.
One small step for Charles Darwin; one giant leap into the pit of hell for all of mankind.
