Britney Spears files for divorce from dancer Kevin Federline
Britney's Timing: Was It All About the Prenup?
Offloading Federline, even with a prenup, is probably the first best thing she can do to cut expenses.
Once K-Fed is off the payroll, Britney will be able to afford a return to her charitable activities.
I just hope he has a good exit interview and that the HR rep does a good job in making sure he receives all his benefits. I wonder what kind of reference he'll get for future marriages.
I remember when I first interviewed Mocha-momma for the position of my wife. Naturally we all think that the person we hire is going to stay on until retirement; but nothing is certain in this day and age. I try and keep her motivated and happy with her work conditions. I realize that her monetary compensation isn't as great as it might be, but I try and throw in some extra perks and benefits here and there. I think her quarterly and yearly reviews are pretty good; at least she hasn't done anything that would make me consider firing her for any reason. The only real complaint I have is that she has this thing about blowing her nose in the middle of the night. (which you wouldn't think would be a big deal, but it's at about the decible level of a bull elephant's mating call). Overall, I'm extremely satisfied; I may even consider giving her a raise this year.
Marriage: what a wonderful institution.
