...because it Increases Income, Improves Relationships, and much, much more to make Your life better
Feng Shui is an ancient oriental term that means "the way of wind and water". It's all about energy, the flow of energy and how it enhances or detracts from your life.
Other cultures have terms that mean the same thing as Feng Shui. Europeans call it Geomancy. Architects used it for the physical layout and design of powerful cities such as Washington DC.
What the ancients discovered is that the placement and layout of physical objects in your environment effects the flow of energy in your life. Most people don't pay much attention to how placement (Feng Shui) impacts them.
They’ll mock belief in God, but go for this type of nonsense. What led me on this trail is that I started thinking, what if we really did get a $100 million work of art, where would we put it? This feng shui thought then came into mind; immediately followed by this line of thinking.
So we follow all the principles, we put the recliner and couches and end tables all in the right places, and somehow in the end the dragon is happy (or doesn’t get an itch, or whatever the heck is suppose to happen when feng shui is working); what happens when the whole place gets trashed by a couple of 9 and 11 year olds?
On a daily basis, our house would not be a model for a photo layout in Good Housekeeping. The place is usually neat and spotless about one hour prior to receiving guests and about ½ a day after we’ve had them over. Then its clothes, backpacks, books, games, etc, lying all around the house. Does that totally negate all the positive energy, or does it stay OK as long as the big stuff is in place. Also, Mocha-momma is not averse to change, and it reflects in our living space. I'll come home from work and everything will have been moved. It's a good thing we don't have anyone blind in our household, they'd be in the emergency room on a monthly basis: hey, that damn couch wasn't there yesterday.
I guess it’s all a moot point. I’ll continue to rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to make my life better. If I did believe in this kind of stuff though, I wonder what kind of effect putting up imaginary walls using duct-tape as an outline would do to the whole set-up?

It's all superstitious nonesense. I have a third cousin who came over for a visit and would move the bed so that her head faces east or something like that. It was so ridiculous that she has to be bound by such belief system.
