Steve Wynn Pokes a Hole in Picasso

Picasso's famed "Dream" painting turned into a nightmare for Las Vegas casino magnate Steve Wynn when he accidentally gave the multimillion-dollar canvas an elbow.
Wynn had just finalized a $139 million sale to another collector of his painting, called "Le Reve" (The Dream), when he poked a finger-sized hole in the artwork while showing it to friends at his Las Vegas office a couple of weeks ago.

Well thank God that we can learn from the mistakes of others. Mocha-momma has been yammering at me for a while now to purchase some Monet that she likes for around $100 million. I keep telling her,"honey, we have two wild kids, and they always have friends in the house; what if one of them accidently poked a hole into it?" Here we have a case of an adult doing it. It's just not worth the risk.

We'll just have to settle with either putting up some of the kid's art projects over the fireplace, or just leave the caricatures from SeaWorld that we have up there now.
