PB: I agree. I would have taken a picture like this. I would think a professional could have been able to frame it better. The first time I saw it on my screen at work, the image was darker than I see on my laptop, that security guard just jumped out at me.
After seeing video of some of the political assemblies in India or China, where people are attacked at the podium, I imagine this must be a kill zone when the president of the United States is speaking.

I went right to the security guy. It looks like he's in a spotlight. I did notice the chair right in front of him though.
Good idea for a trivia quiz: what show had one of the main characters concerned about a retail security guard having to stand all day?

He's not just a security guard, he also holds up the 'applause' sign. I'm sure I recognized him from Shrek.
