Update: Cruise Ship Mishaps

Cruise Ship Bumps NYC Pier; No Injuries
NEW YORK — A cruise ship bumped a pier at the Manhattan passenger terminal on Thursday but caused little damage and no injuries were reported, the Fire Department said.

You know why there was little damage and no injuries; because I wasn't on it. Had I been on board, the ship would have rammed right through the terminal building, pushed through about 5 blocks into Manhattan, then exploded.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again---I don't have any abnormal fear of cruise ships, I just simply know that when and if I ever do go on one, the people on board the Poseidon would have considered themselves luckier to have endured their fate than what would happen to me and my fellow passengers. (and that's the exact thing I'd tell the psychologist)
