LOS ANGELES — You can't keep a good gator down.
Reggie, the alligator who eluded trappers for nearly two years at an urban lake, managed to escape Wednesday from his new home at the Los Angeles Zoo and it was nearly opening time before he was caught.
PETA is planning to do a movie. They're hoping to get Paul Newman to come out of retirement and play the part of Reggie. When asked to comment, the veteran actor said he'll be too busy coming out with a line of 'Newman's Own Gator on a Stick.'
