1896 - J.T. Hearne sets a cricket record for the earliest date of taking 100 first-class wickets.

This sounds amazing; and, as soon as I can muster up any curiosity and desire to learn even a tiny fraction of what cricket entails, and why this would be important, I'll get back to you.
