They're either card carrying liberal twits; or, they are so tired of cavorting with penguins that they'll do anything to break the monotony.
I hope someone crunches the numbers and figures out how much energy consumption Weird Al and this endeavor will have wasted when all is said and done.

But think about all of the fossil fuels they'd have to burn, and the emissions created that would enter the atmosphere.
Certainly bringing that much havoc to the most dangerously affected area of the global warming scam..er problem...would only cause more issues, right?
