This day in history:

1348 - The founding of the Order of the Garter by King Edward III of England is announced on St George's Day.

The Most Noble Order of the Garter is an English order of chivalry dating from medieval times. It is the world's oldest national order of knighthood, and the pinnacle of the British honours system.
I plan to start my own order: The Most Noble Order of the Wrist Sweater. I just need to work on the design.

Hey!!! You think that you can ordain an "Order of the Wrist Sweater"? You don't even have any!

You think King Edward wore garters? Okay, maybe he did back in those days. Doesn't matter, I'm the king, I can ordain any type of order I want. I was going to make you one of the first Ladies of the order; but I don't know, you're getting kind of unruly here.

If I was a First Lady of the Order, would I get to "Wrist" people?
