Cesarean mom's intestines fall out
Hospital denies cost-cutting behind switch to thread that failed
--Aftenposten, Norway
"When I got up, I felt my entire stomach tear. I got help from hospital staff and was put into a bed. Then I saw that my intestines and the contents of my abdomen had fallen out," Johannessen said.
I've seen the contents of my stomach spewed out on occasion; but, thankfully, I've never seen the contents of my entire abdomen.
If I ever have major invasive surgery, I think I'll stop at Jo-Ann Fabric beforehand and buy my own thread.
And Nosocomephobia is: a fear of hospitals (nosocome: Greek for hospital or infirmary)
