My mouth is already watering. We ate here on our last trip to Texas, and it immediately became our favorite restaurant; unfortunately, they don't have establishments in MN. The closest one is about a 6 hour drive in Northern IA.
If we didn't do anything else while on vacation, to get to Texas Roadhouse would be worth the trip. JR has a special memory from that vacation. On our way back from Texas we drove through NM and CO. We celebrated his birthday by driving to the top of Pikes Peak (Colorado Springs) in the morning, and eating at Texas Roadhouse for his birthday dinner.
No squid on this menu.

I've been there while in Tyler, Texas.
Mmmm...
I went to the one in Cedar Falls Iowa. Or was it Waterloo? Same difference. Anyways, it was good and there were all kinds of peanut shells on the ground. Kind of earthy in an intentional way.
damn, that looks soooo good.
