Holy Run Amok Bull Batman; the terrorists are restless today

Bull Mauls, Kills Minnesota Farmer (FoxNews)
A man died after he was mauled by a bull on a farm northeast of Jordan on Monday, Scott County authorities said.
Nobody witnessed the incident, but family members found the victim and called 911 just before 4 p.m., said
Sgt. Phil Nawrocki, an investigator with the Scott County sheriff's office.
"Apparently one of the bulls had pinned the individual in ... a fenced-in area, causing his death," Nawrocki said.
The victim had been doing routine chores when it happened, he said. The responding deputies shot and killed the bull, Nawrocki

I have to admit I'm a little confused as to why they felt they had to kill the bull. Unlike other animals, I'm not sure a bull will be more prone to kill after doing it once. It's not like they eat the victims when they're done. Now the family is going to have to go out and purchase a new bull to breed. Oh well, I'm not a farmer, what do I know.

Complete segue: last night, after we got home from our bible study group, MM and I were in bed and flipping through the channels when we came onto an interview with a bull-rider just after his ride. We stopped and listened for a few moments. MM looked at me and asked if I could understand one thing the guy had just said. Not being from Mars, or from some small hick town in TX, I said no. Neither of us could understand a single thing this guy had said.

We watched for a little bit and had to just shake our heads in amazement. For one thing, we could not believe some of the bulls, and the rides they gave these guys. Holy torture your testicles batman. I don't know how these guys do it. I can't imagine wearing a normal cup is adequate to prevent damage.

The other funny thing was the announcer. Talk about a high pitched, nasally, Texas accent; he also talked as fast as the old FedEx pitchman, remember him. "You can't go by how good the bull was last night because tonight he could be a totally different bull." "That is the rankest bull I've seen in a long time." He was hilarious, and very passionate about his bulls. The show was called Xtreme Bull Riding. Amazing stuff to watch.

I was just asking the same question myself recently during a TV thing about an upcoming bullriding show - how do men handle the logistics of bullriding? You'd think women would be far more likely candidates for this.
