I'm one content 50 year old right now.

L to R: Reverend Mother, Night Writer, JR, Mocha-momma, Gabrielle, Hannah-bear, kingdavid, Hammerswing.

The food was fine; but the company even finer. We could probably still be there, but the owner came out and bribed us with a $20 gift certificate to leave so they could use our table for other guests. It was a splendid evening of good eats and fine conversation; Mocha-momma and I could not have had a better combination birthday/anniversary dinner.

This was a wonderful wrap up to two weeks of holiday festivities that highlighted God's blessings, and sharing it all with family and very dear old and new friends made it even more enjoyable.

I wish that all you guys could have been here as well; although we may have had to sneak in some pasta for Gino.

(the only downer of the night was that the back bar with the polka band was packed tighter than a sardine can, so we didn't have a chance to listen and do a little dancing)

This is interesting. Is that really Hammerswing in the front of the picture...or the guy in the blue shirt and tie from the photo just to the right in the sidebar?

Fifty? Do people get that old? Happy birthday, Dave!

NW: the resemblance is uncanny; the main difference is that one of them has spent the last 30 years advancing Satan's kingdom, and the other will spend the next 30 years advancing God's kingdom; other than that, they could be brothers.

Hey hey hey!!! Comparisons to John Kerry are decidedly uncool. Recant!

Hammerswing, you have to admit an eery likeness, at least in wardrobe, especially when the photo from the Nye's post happened to line up exactly along side the Kerry photo in the sidebar. It kind of made my stomach flip, but that might have been all the saurkraut I ate.

Besides, I still haven't forgotten the photo of the hairless cat that you linked to my name back in August.
