We've had her for almost one month now. In that time she has gone from an extremely shy, timid, and totally neurotic dog, into a still little shy and timid, somewhat neurotic dog. To backtrack, we got her from a breeder who felt she was too small to breed, and she spent the first year of her life with 17 other dogs. We were told she was trained and should fit right in to the household. Well she wasn't trained and we've had numerous issues; but, we all have fallen madly in love with her, and patience along with a lot of TLC has brought her a long way over the month.

Very pretty.
Border collie?
Shetland Sheep Dog, or Sheltie. They are generally extremely intelligent dogs; but we think that Dixie's environment for that first year may have affected her more than the breeder may have recognized.
