I don't know what it is about December, but in probably 7 out of the last 8 we've had to put money into our cars. They're fine the other 11 months of the year; but when we can really use the money, or not afford to use what we do have, around Christmas time---the stupid cars decide they want something too.
So far we've put $500 in our Saturn, but it still needs anther $500. Now, the Town & Country van has been squeaking like an oversized rat. Mocha-momma was so worried about her baby that we had to bring it in today. The mechanic thought it might be bearings, which I guess is really bad (I wouldn't know, I'm totally incompetent with vehicles) My only understanding is that it's costly---hundreds, thousands, may hundreds of thousands of dollars.
I'm home from work today for that and the some other reasons, so I'm sitting around doing stuff and dreading---the call. Well it finally came. Once I got the call, I immediately called MM at work and asked her if she was sitting down----------
It was a bad belt that they put in about 8 months ago; they've had other negative reports on this belt, and thus they simply replaced it with some other brand. Cost to us......$0.00.
Can you say hallelujiah, Praise the Lord, thank you Jesus right along with us.

Thank you Jesus, but please help kingdavid and Mocha momma to stop buying American.
I love Seinfeld's joke about horsepower. Do you think maybe it's time to stop comparing our speed to horses?
