You don't know the date or hour of your death; are you ready to meet God?

Fla. Man Dies While Pulling Dog From Stump Grinder

LAKE WALES, Fla. — A man trying to save a dog being pulled into a stump grinder was caught in the machine and killed, authorities said.
Wagner tried to rescue the 6-month-old Weimaraner, but was pulled into the machine's blades. He died of lacerations and major head and body trauma, Wood said.

Of the thousands, even possibly millions of ways to die in this world, I can't really think off hand of too many that would be further down on my list of ways in which I'd want to go. This poor guy had to make a split second decision, and that decision resulted in his death along with the dog's.

Take from this story what you will. In this life there are decisions that need to be made which reflect your view of eternity; don't hold off on making those decisions by telling yourself time is on your side. It only takes a split second, and eternity is now.

That, and note to self: never rent a stump grinder.
