My brother, the cop in Houston, is also an avid golfer. He's the club champion on his home course, and participates in a number of tournaments each summer. Right now he is in Myrtle Beach SC, trying to win a villa in some world amateur tourney. I'm sure he'll win something, if not the grand prize. I've never seen a guy win so much stuff; whether its door prizes, closest to the pin, longest drive, winning his flight, low gross, etc. He always seems to walk away from a tournament with something. He recently bought himself a new set of clubs, one week later he won a set of Taylor Mades at a tournament.
In this tournament he gets to play one round a day (Mon-Thur), today he's playing some Nicklaus designed course, and if he makes it into the top 10 in his flight, he'll play in the championship round on Friday--to win the villa. So, good luck to Steve.
