A model presents a pasta dress creation by Hungarian designer Virag Toth during a fashion show at an Italian restaurant in Budapest September 27, 2007.
What's with these looney designers. Why can't they just stick with normal fabrics in their creations---like duct tape.
Animal rights activist Harmony Qura lays spattered with fake blood in a giant meat tray during a protest to highlight the plight of factory farm animals on World Farm Animals day on the National Mall in Washington, October 2, 2007. The day is observed in an attempt to put an end to animal suffering at factory farms and slaughterhouses. (UNITED STATES)
Millions of human beings are being slaughtered around the world; but these people are whining about cows.
Why does art seem to attract such a large number of lunatics? I'm gonna start painting using a body part as well--something different though. Rear-ends has been done. Has anyone ever seen any ear-art?

Did you notice that the package has the weight of the PETA activist on it? :^) Looks like all those bean sprouts didn't help her keep the pounds off after all, like PETA promises.
Got to keep the loonies on the path...
Hey KD. I've asked before but now I have to ask again, since at school they make a big deal of the copyright on photos. Is using photos for non-profit as we do considered a problem? You, the photo man. Do you ever foresee any problems?
BTW - those are some amazing photos.
I've been to sites where it's impossible to save pictures. Those people have control of their copyrights. If I can save it, and I'm not making any money it, I'm doing it.
Gabrielle, great question. The long & short of it is that there is a provision in copyright law called "fair use," and generally when someone issues a press release with a picture, it's "fair use" to reprint a picture from that press release.
However, if you reprint the entire article without attribution or such, then you're going to run afoul of copyright law, as you're going to be depriving the originator of their just revenue.
