The little old lady from Okinawa has a new ride

Mazda's Taiki concept car at the company's research facility in Yokohama, Japan

So here's the deal, we'll all chip in an imaginary $1,000. The first person to actually see one of these on the road in the U.S. will win the imaginary pot. I'm afraid we're gonna have to disqualify Gino though, because he lives in California. We all know that alien UFO's are always buzzing around California, as it's their home base on Earth. One of their vehicles could easily be mistaken for one of these.

Start the subliminal messaging now. I'm sure your dad will eventually succumb.

My first car was a fire engine red, 1965 Ford Galaxy.

No problem, Tiger Lilly. I think I saw this in the Hot Wheels display at Target the other day.

KD - my first car was a '64 Ford Galaxy coupe, blue. Actually it eventually became a '63/'64 when I had a crash and the only replacement fenders and hood available came from a '63. I was stylin'.

The only damage to mine came one day when I pulled into the parking lot at high school. I was jamming to a tune on my 8-track, and left the car running because it was winter. After the song, I turned off the stereo, locked the doors and jumped out--with the car still running.

I was hoping one of the shop teachers could help, but to no avail. Their best advice--break the little vent window and get in; which I did, and always had a draft after that. Never did get it fixed.

If you're going to get the model, could you also get an enlarger so I can blow it up to actual size?
Or you could just get me the real thing, it'll probably be cheaper than buying something that doesn't exist.

TL, you might do well to consider that there is no evidence in this vehicle of an actual suspension. Might make your ride a little bit less than pleasant, to put it mildly.
