Jeopardy Answer is: The Vikings Suck

Jeopardy question: What does Mocha-momma hear at least once a quarter when KD is watching a game.

There’s a bleacher battle going on in the blogosphere. Gino and ‘da Bears’ against Uncle Ben and PalmBoy with the Packers.

It’s a moot battle because we all know the Lions are going to turn it around and win the division running away. I’d stick up for the Vikings, but then I don’t believe hell is going to freeze over any time soon.

I’m a bandwagon fan when it comes to the Vikings. I cheer for them because they’re the home team, but I don’t loose sleep over them. There’s only one team that I put any emotion into, and that’s the Gopher hockey team.

I’m getting old. Use to be I could sit around for hours and watch baseball and football games---didn’t matter who was playing. Professional sports lost me a long time ago. I still pay attention to what’s going on though; because, quite frankly, I’m a guy, it’s in the blood.

I’m in a pick-em pool through KQRS. Right now I’m at 29-19 on my picks this season; that’s ranked 6,322 out of 16,183 participants.

I will close with this: saw this at some joke site Ben had linked in a post.

Marta was watching the football game with me when she said, "You know, most of these sports are based on the idea of one group protecting its territory from invasion by another group." "Yeah," I said, trying not to laugh. Girls are funny.

Ditto with ben.

And the cheese isn't gassy... :D

Exactly where do the holes in that cheese come from, then? Sorry, that's the gaseous byproducts of the fermentation of the cheese.

One would think that Wisconsinites might know this, but apparently...

:^)
