Norway's Moose Population in Trouble for Belching
The poor old Scandinavian moose is now being blamed for climate change, with researchers in Norway claiming that a grown moose can produce 2,100 kilos of methane a year -- equivalent to the CO2 output resulting from a 13,000 kilometer car journey.

Uh-huh, the Rocky and Bullwinkle Effect. Squirrels and moose (it is so hard not to write mooses) are ruining the world. Just declare an open season on them worldwide. Moose would be considered strict vegetarians, would they not? Ergo, vegetarians are the greatest threat to climate change.

Norway has some 120,000 moose but an estimated 35,000 are expected to be killed in this year's moose hunting season, which starts on September 25, Norwegian newspaper VG reported.

Road Trip!!!

Pit Bulls Break Into Home, Maul Woman
GIG HARBOR, Wash. (AP) - Two pit bull terriers broke into a house through a pet door Tuesday and attacked a woman in her bed, mauling her badly, a Pierce County sheriff's spokesman said.

This is beyond my imagination. What in the world could have prompted these two dogs to do this? It almost appears as if they planned this attack. They're as bad as the human animals that killed our friend this month.

There's a pit bull in JR and Dixies agility class. She appears mellow enough now, but I have to admit that I watch a little more carefully when JR and Dixie get near her.

Cats' Short-Term Memory Lasts About 10 Minutes
A new study has measured just how long cats can remember certain kinds of information — about 10 minutes

Though researchers were aware of this association, they wondered exactly how kitty remembers to bring her hind legs up after her front legs have cleared an obstacle.

I may be completely alone in this reaction; but, are these people totally insane? How does a cat remember to bring her hind legs up after clearing an obstacle!!! Who's paying these people, and encouraging them in this moronic endeavor. What are they going to do next---study why dogs raise their legs when they take a pee.

How could something animals do that they have been doing for a long long time naturally, be causing global warming?
