Scouts are loyal, trustworthy, and oftentimes, extremely goofy

I just picked up JR from a scout activity. They went canoeing on a nearby lake. At the end, when they were wrapping up, they did some swimming in the lake. One of his buddies thought it would be funny to take off his shorts; unfortunately, he didn't think he was going to lose them in the muck. Luckily, he had a long t-shirt on, so he was able to cover up fairly well. As I was driving him home, we talked about looking back on certain memories when you're an adult. This is one I'm sure he'll be remembering for a long time, and one which his buddies will be sure to remind him of for the rest of their school days.
