Cruise Resumes Voyage as Crews Search for Missing Passenger
MIAMI — A Royal Caribbean International cruise ship resumed its voyage to Puerto Rico on Tuesday as Coast Guard crews searched for a passenger reported missing a day earlier.
The
Freedom of the Seas turned around Monday to return to the waters east of Eleuthera Island, Bahamas, where it had been sailing when the man was last reported seen. The Coast Guard resumed a search of those waters Tuesday by air.

When are they going to design a cruise ship that has a safety net sticking out 20 feet around the entire perimeter of the ship, just above the sea level? Either that, or simply do away with all balconies.

Cruise ship mishaps are reaching AKJ event proportions. I'm going to start tracking these events, just like the AKJ. I think I'll go back through my history and count all the other events I've posted on as well. Look for the updates right below the AKJ section.

Gosh, you mean when you have bars open with free liquor 24/7, you just might have people getting hurt? Say it isn't so!
