Wisdom to live by

I'm currently reading a novel by David Gemmel called 'Lord of the Silver Bow.' It's an epic centered around ancient Troy, with characters such as Agammemnon, Hektor, Aeneas, and Odysseus.

His portrayal of Odysseus is wonderful---he has him being a master storyteller who weaves marvelous tales of his adventures with monsters and enchanted beings. At one point in the story, Odysseus is talking with Aeneas (primarily called Helikaon in the story) and he's talking about some other guy they both knew; this is what he says:

"I never liked him. I never trust a man who doesn't fart during a feast."

So, the next time your at a pot-luck or a super bowl party, make sure to do plenty of farting.

So ever since that incident with the "Gorilla Glue," you're being rude and untrustworthy at feasts, right?
