Companies and individuals rushing to go green have been spending millions on “carbon credit” projects that yield few if any environmental benefits.
A Financial Times investigation has uncovered widespread failings in the new markets for greenhouse gases, suggesting some organisations are paying for emissions reductions that do not take place.............
How can this be? Al Gore himself is pushing these carbon offsets. Am I to understand that Al is not being forthright and honest in regard to this global warming miracle cure. Is he just another charlatan passing off a useless elixir so that he himself can profit from the gullibility of others?
Well just stick a knife in my back. I always thought he was an opportunist and a pathological liar, but I never would have pictured him as a con-artist. I'm just too naive in these matters.
