I lucked out. I had taken today off to go to the Diabetes Center at my clinic; but with the snowstorm that's raging right now, I called and said I couldn't make it. So I've just been sitting in my comfy chair---browsing the web, doing a little crossword puzzle work, and thoroughly enjoying the feast taking place at our birdfeeder in our front yard.
The storm isn't too bad; but the snow is falling steady and the wind is really whipping things up. In the midst of all this, the birds are here in record numbers. We don't see them very often, but a group of 4 male and 4 female cardinals have been coming in for a couple of hours now. I've been trying to go out and throw sunflower seeds on top of the snow; but it gets covered up in no time. (the cardinals can't eat at the feeder, they're scrounging underneath)
We've had a pretty mild winter so far; but I just heard that March is the second snowiest month of the year. For those of you who live outside of God's favorite state in the union, March is the big high school state tournament month in MN. The legend here says that over the weekend of the Boy's basketball tournament there will always be a major blizzard. The championship games this year are on Saturday, March 24. That's the day we're flying down to Texas. That legend better prove to be a myth this year.
Tonight we're going to make homemade pizza and have a game night. I'm gonna push for Clue. I have yet to win at that game, and I'm feeling lucky today.

I'm fasting and praying for you today, among others.
Second snowiest month? I think it's actually the snowiest. Maybe I'd better do some research!
Ok, you're right. In Mpls/St. Paul the snowiest month is January with 10.7 inches. March averages 10.5.
