ASHLAND, Mass. — A Massachusetts woman has been mauled in her home by one of her own show dogs.
Police say Shirley Schlager was treated for serious injuries after being attacked by one of her five blue terriers.
Rescue workers found Schlager covered in blood after she escaped the attack and called 911.
Police say it took almost an hour to corral the frightened, 45-pound Kerry blue terrier after the attack.
Schlager's son, who helps his mother breed the terriers, said she might have been hurt trying to break up a fight between dogs.

So very sad. One of the good guys, man's best friend, converted over to the dark side. Authorities are now going to have to determine if he acted alone, or was he part of a sleeper cell. Another sad part of this story---now this dog will never have the opportunity to one day walk the circuit at the Westminster Dog Show. Another life wasted over fanatical ideology.
