Castration Hearing Tops The List Of Wednesday Court Cases
A woman accused of trying to castrate a man at a Christmas Eve party will have her next day in court on Wednesday.Rebecca Arnold Dawson, 34, of Lillington, will face a probable cause hearing in Harnett County district court on charges of malicious castration, assault causing serious bodily injury, malicious conduct by a prisoner and injury to personal property.She is accused of attempting to remove the genitalia of Kevin Russ, 38, with her hands when the two became involved in a domestic dispute. Mr. Russ was later released from Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital after treatment from his injuries.

I'm all over this one. I'm going to track it until there's a resolution. I knew that her next court appearance was today, so I checked the local paper. I'll check again tomorrow and see what happened today.
