I had the great pleasure yesterday of witnessing two phenomenal performances by men who have totally mastered their respective crafts.
At our Blue/Gold Cub Scout Banquet we were entertained by Dazzling Dave, International Yo-Yo Master. There are 12 people with this designation in America, and we have one right here in MN. Dave puts on a great show, and also teaches on how to yo-yo properly. He can do some pretty amazing things with that simple toy.
The second great performance. Rex Grossman in the SuperBowl. The comedy routine he performed was impeccable. The way he fumbled and threw up ducks and stumbled and tumbled his way through the game was hilarious. If you want to join his fan club, contact Gino at Such is Life.
We had quite the day yesterday. Great church service, run home and get stuff, head right to our Blue/Gold Banquet to set up; after the banquet we ran home and changed, then took off immediately on a one-hour drive to Night Writer's place for a SuperBowl Party. We had a great time, our kids had a ball making new friends and playing all evening. We finally got home about 10:15 and immediately crashed. I did require a couple of tums to put down the major case of acid indigestion from all the rich foods I was eating all day.
