Beautiful day in MN; I wore my thermal bermuda shorts

Nice sunny day, 10 degrees, wind gusts up to 30 mph (which makes the wind chill about -10) There weren't many scouts that showed up for our ice fishing day; but they were die-hards that did. I personally stuck around long enough to snap some pictures and then left. I've been ice fishing 4 times in my life, and that's been once a year the last 4 years since I've been cubmaster. It's not my cup of tea.

If it wasn't for the wind chill, it would have been a great day to be on the lake. The wind was just brutal. Also, I'm not an ice-fisherman; so when one of the guys told me to park my van a little further away from another pick-up because the ice was only 15" thick, I thought---OK, I'm getting off as soon as I can. Probably every week for the last month and a half I've heard stories of trucks and snowmobiles going through the ice. I think there have been close to 10 deaths so far this year.

Hard to tell who the babes are; they're all wrapped up tighter than an Islamist's daughter.
