At last, it came by courier yesterday. My prize for finishing 2nd in the PGA Golf Majors fantasy team contest. I finished in second place during the PGA Championship; which was in August. I had to fill out some form with Turner Broadcasting before I got the prize, but they were sending the form e-mail to my home adress and I never got it. We finally got in touch with each other and they got it through to my work e-mail. So, I finally received it---
Titleist Vokey Design Spin Milled Wedge - Right Hand - 60 Degree Loft –Oil Can finish
It is undoubtedly the nicest club I've ever owned. I think I purchased my clubs, Ambassadors, in the mid-80's for about $200. This club by itself is @$100. I think what I'm going to do is just buy some other nice clubs, piecemeal, over the winter. I'll probably get some type of utility wood, a couple irons, and a nice 3-wood or driver, all built around this wedge.
Not that any of this will do any good for my golf game. I'm pretty much a bogey-golfer. It doesn't matter how many times I get out a year, or what type of course I'm on---I always seem to shoot in the 90's. Maybe having some nice clubs will get me into the 80's. I'll have to wait until next year to find out.
