I wonder what all the little people were doing last night

Well, our family had dinner with the First Lady, the V.P., a senator and a governor. Yep, we got together with Cathy in the Wright and her family for dinner last night. The elite of Wright County blogging met for the first time, and it was a great pleasure. Our only regret was that it didn’t last long enough. We met in a little hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant that we each discovered on our own; unfortunately, it was getting busy so we couldn’t just hang and visit too long. People were standing in line right next to our table and staring at us. Minnesota nice prevailed on us that we should leave and let them sit down to eat. We will definitely make plans to get together again.

We did mention that we’d both like to get to Keegans on a Thursday night; but us country folk find it hard to get into the big city don’t you know. Maybe we’ll have to sponsor a MOB event at one of our high-falutin nightclubs out here in buffalo country. It would be just like Keegans, except for the spittoons and cow manure on the floors. We’ll plan out the details and get an invite out.
