I don't know what the circumstances could possibly be, but I'd wager it involved mass quantities of alcohol.
Looks like "Vehicles Gone Wild" to me. They got pretty frisky.
You know what's really sad, if it was a pick-up on top of a hyundai, no problem; but a vette--that hurts.
